A DIY Project With DIY Battle Ropes

What is it that makes Battle Ropes such an exciting activity for kids and adults alike? The answer is simple - the fact that there is no limit to how many kids or adults can play! But, as much as the excitement is high, the learning curve can be quite steep and is not for everyone. BUT, there IS an easier way out for the little tools that you require AND develop your craftiness quickly and have lots of fun along the way.

There are two main concepts to mastering the art of DIY battle ropes and these are consistency and repetition. In fact, it is important to be consistent with your timing and the length of your homemade battle ropes. This will allow you to get better at tying knots and learn when the right time to knot them is. And, when it comes to length it is best to start with a shorter length before advancing to longer and more sturdy pieces.

Once you have developed your DIY battle ropes you will be ready to start your fitness journey by tying two or more pieces together and then dangling them from your hands. Depending on the length of the rope you will be able to build up a nice, strong arm, and even manage to tie a few more pieces onto the end! The exercise you will be doing while using your homemade rope will do a lot to keep your heart rate up and help your muscles become more flexible. If you continue to workout on a regular basis, your fitness journey will only get better and stronger.

Battle Ropes are great because they give you the chance to not only workout but to do it outdoors. Unlike a gym where you need to purchase expensive gym equipment, Battle Ropes makes it possible for you to workout right in your own home. Since Battle Ropes is made out of durable nylon yarn, it will last you a long time without having to be replaced. This is a great advantage because the cost of gym equipment tends to be very high, and since you are saving so much money on your workout it is easy to see why you would want to purchase your own rather than pay for gym memberships. You can also take Battle Ropes on trips with you and workout in style since they are extremely lightweight.

These Battle Ropes can be used in many different types of DIY battle rope exercises. For example, you can use them to add weight to the beach. When you hang a couple of these ropes from a tree branch or from a house post, you will be able to add weight to your in-ground garden hose. You can easily hang these off of high shelves or other structures that have railings. This is a great way to work some serious muscle in the backyard without the use of weights. Plus, the canvas weave of the Battle Rope will allow the water from your garden hose to add even more resistance.

If you are looking to increase your vertical jump and are not too worried about adding extra bulk to your frame, then you should try to hang these from low walls or from the nearest pier. You can also hang these Battle Ropes at the local YMCA. The canvas weave provides excellent resistance to gravity, and as a result you can easily increase your vertical leap. For those who are not too concerned about adding a bit of mass to their frame, but still want to tone their muscles, then you can use the 1.5 x rope length for hanging exercise balls and dumbbells.
